SAM.gov provides you with a 12-character alphanumeric Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), which has been a mandatory requirement for federal grant applications since April 4, 2022. This UEI is your official identifier for conducting business with the U.S. Government and is a crucial prerequisite for pursuing FRA grants.
